2019 - Cincinnati, OH - Tabula Rasa Gallery - Solo Exhibition
As I looked back through photo albums, I reflected on my childhood and teenage years. I remember how I was treated being perceived as a girl, and I thought about how that changed. I want to let the people in my life know that I am the same person. The only thing that changed was people’s perceptions of me. The memories that were displayed on the wall and in the photo albums are still valuable. These moments shared shouldn’t be invalidated because of societal views. The soul surpasses such ideologies.
